Buddy Bags

Each week we partner with a neighboring elementary school to provide Buddy Bags for students to take home on the weekend. We need the following items to fill these bags:

 No Sam’s or Costco sized items unless food is individually packed

 All items can be left in the food pantry drop off closet in the K-Hall lobby

 High Need Items

• Boxes of cereal (approx. 15oz size)
• Pasta Sauce (24oz size in plastic containers)
• Peanut Butter (15-16oz in plastic containers)
• Jelly (20oz squeezable or smaller sized plastic containers)  
• Rice packs (Knorr, Lipton etc.)  
• Hamburger Helper (6oz)  
• Chef Boyardee
• Canned Fruit  
• Canned meat (tuna, chicken, etc.)  
• Macaroni and cheese
• Boxes of crackers (Club, Triscuit, etc.)  
• Pasta
• Hearty soup (16oz…Progresso, etc.)
• Fruit cups
• Ramen (Chicken)
• Fruit Snacks
• Mac & Cheese (Cups & Boxes)
• Individually packaged snacks (cookies, Rice Krispies, pudding/jello, etc)  

Benevolence Bags

Our food pantry also distributes bags of food for individuals and families who are needing some additional food assistance. We also send some of the items to our elementary school partner in Kansas City, KS. For these outreaches, we take all of the above items AND:

• Pasta Sauce (Canned or Plastic only)

• Chef Boyardee/Spaghettios
