The Mission of LBC’s Kids Ministry, in partnership with parents, is to love kids, lead kids and launch kids. We want to supplement your efforts at home and provide avenues for Christian teaching, recreation and friendships.
Early Childhood
Birth – 4 Years
In the Early Childhood ministry, your young child will be introduced to Jesus in a way that they can understand. From the very beginning, we share these basic truths with your child: God made me, God loves me, and jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Elementary
5 Years – 5th Grade
LBC’s Elementary Ministry partners with parents to create EXCITED DISCIPLES for God’s Kingdom and His glory. We believe the church and family should work together to raise the next generation of Christians. We provide fun ways for your child to learn and navigate God’s Word,
Special Needs
The Special Needs ministry desires to provide a safe and secure environment for an individual with special needs to learn God’s word while the parents worship at Lenexa Baptist Church.

The goal for the LBC Student Ministry is that all students would be prepared to live the rest of their lives for Jesus Christ, making Him known to the world around them. We want to assist families in teaching their students to learn to stand for the gospel and own their faith by being able to defend it.
Middle School

The goal of Middle School Ministry is to partner with parents as they seek to disciple their students. We want to equip students with the knowledge they need to be a disciple-making disciple.
High School
9th Grade – 12th Grade
Our goal in the High School Ministry is for all students to leave the youth ministry ready to live the rest of their lives for Jesus Christ and making Him known to the world around them.
Middle School

The goal of Middle School Ministry is to partner with parents as they seek to disciple their students. We want to equip students with the knowledge they need to be a disciple-making disciple.
High School

We have several ministries to help adults connect with other adults in smaller group settings. Please join us and see how we make a large church feel more intimate.
College & Career
Singles 18-25
The purpose of the college and career ministry is to mobilize 18-25 year olds to become lifelong followers and disciple makers of Jesus Christ.

We are seeking to exalt Christ and sharpen one another with the Word of God. We want to help you unite with single adults as you pursue Christ.
Women
It is our desire to help every woman in our church get involved in missions and ministry to utilize their gifts, abilities, and talents for the good of our church body and the growth of the Kingdom of God.
Men
The LBC Men’s Ministry is all about helping men become the spiritual leaders God has called them to be, focusing on discipleship, relationship building and service. We accomplish this through Bible studies and discipleship.
Senior Adults
In response to lifetimes of God’s faithfulness, the Senior Adult Ministry encourages one another to glorify God by present influence and by leaving a lasting legacy. This ministry is for all adults age 55 and older.
Deaf Ministry
Lenexa Baptist Church currently offers interpretation for the Deaf onsite and online at our 9:30am service every Sunday morning in the Worship Center. Invite family and friends in the Deaf Community to Worship with us.
Worship
Every time we gather as a congregation, we do so for the purpose of exalting Jesus Christ. Our worship services are about glorifying God as we worship Him “in Spirit and in truth.”
Recovery
The mission of our recovery ministry is to bring glory to God through lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is sufficient, and the gospel is relevant to address the deepest issues of our lives.
Counseling
Our counseling ministry is designed with our members in mind. It’s our desire to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of men, women, adolescents, children, and families.
College & Career
Singles 18-25
