We Have Good News
What’s the Gospel?
Because of our sin, we are separated from God. Sin, those things we think, say and do that fall short of God’s intended design for our life. By believing in God’s Son, Jesus, and following Him, we are forgiven and can know we have eternal life in heaven. That is the Gospel and the Gospel is good news. To receive this gift of God, invite Jesus into your life. You can use this simple prayer to help you.
“Dear God, right now by faith, I invite your Son, Jesus Christ, to come into my life. I believe He died on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins and that He rose from the dead overcoming the power of death so that I can have eternal life with You in heaven. It is by faith that I believe this to be true and by the confession of my mouth I accept your forgiveness. Help me in my new walk with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

GET BAPTIZED
While many people have been baptized as a child or even as adults, the Bible is very clear that baptism is something that is to take place after a person’s commitment is made to Jesus Christ. Baptism is also baptism by immersion, meaning to be dipped under the water. In every example of baptism in the Bible this is what we find. Since Jesus said it, as Christians we should follow it.

PRAY REGULARLY
Talk to God like you would a friend. Share your concerns, hurts, needs, and desires. But remember, God is a Holy God. We are to be reverent and respectful. He will hear you and continue to reveal Himself to you each and every day as you continue to walk with Him.
“I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” – Luke 11:9
READ THE BIBLE
Over the span of thousands of years God has provided us with the greatest love story ever told. In the Bible He reveals His love for people and the sacrifice of His Son to show it. The Bible is also called the Word of God. In it contains many answers to life’s most difficult questions, and offers guidance to our biggest challenges. Begin reading in the book of John and learn about the amazing life of Jesus Christ. If you do not have a Bible click here and request one. We will send it to you at no charge.

ATTEND A BIBLICALLY-BASED CHURCH
You need to know there are no perfect churches, because we are all imperfect people. But doing life alone with all of its ups and downs can be difficult. In God’s perfect plan, He created the church. A place where Christians can do life together, worship God, encourage each other, develop lasting relationships and draw closer to God together.
