Our primary focus is to minister to and support members who are hospitalized, are facing ongoing health issues, living in nursing or assisted living facilities or facing bereavement. Our example is that of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who provided compassion and encouragement to the sick and the hurting.
Paul reminded the church at Corinth, we work to comfort others with the same comfort that God has given to us. Being a part of the LBC Cares team is a great way to encourage and support the body of Christ in very practical ways. Cares team members touch people by making encouraging visits (when able), sending cards, emails, or making phone calls We work together to walk with others during their time of need.
As LBC continues to grow, so does our Cares ministry. There are many different ways you can get involved with LBC Cares and we need you! If you are looking for a place to serve where you will directly impact people who need encouragement through service, prayer, scripture reading, letter writing or a phone call – LBC Cares is the place for you!
