We believe the church and family should work together to raise the next generation of Christians. We see discipleship as a two sided coin: church and family. We believe God designed parents to be uniquely perfect primary faith trainers of their children.
If the church and family work together to equip the generations, we need a common path to walk on. We call this path WayPoint. Everything we do helps people mature along the path. Everything you do as a parent as you host family devotions, celebrate WayPoints, and capitalize on God Sightings also helps your children mature along the path.

Single and Parenting | 6:30-8:00pm
Next class will begin August 28, 2019
This class is a place for single parents to find rest, hope and encouragement. In a Single & Parenting group, you’ll participate in video seminars that explain how to:
- Wisely encourage your kids to obey
- Help your hurting child
- Eliminate debt
- Deal with verbal onslaughts
- Figure out what your emotions are telling you
Plus, you’ll develop meaningful friendships with other single parents, who, like you, are tired of hectic mornings and chaotic evenings, the kids fighting, and a never-ending to-do list. Led by Tim and Kris Taylor.
Disciplines of a Godly Family | Adult Study
Jim Fruth | Pastor’s Reception Room | 6:30pm-8pm | August 28-December 4.
Disciplines of a Godly Family covers such topics as establishing a solid family heritage, promoting affection between family members, encouraging godliness in children, using appropriate discipline, and helping children cultivate enriching lifelong habits. The Hugheses also offer tips for fun and affordable family vacations, creating family traditions, and starting a prayer notebook. They even give us a suggested list of books and videos that should be in every family’s library.
