Our goal for the LBC Student Ministry is that every student be prepared to live the rest of their lives for Jesus Christ and making Him known. We want to assist families in teaching their students to learn to stand for the gospel and own their faith by being able to defend it.

Because we believe the church and family should work together to raise the next generation of Christ followers the Middle School and High School ministries are steps on the WayPoint path to spiritual maturity.

High School

We are very excited you have decided to get more information about the Lenexa Baptist High School ministry.

In addition to our annual events, which include retreats, mission trips and camp, we gather for weekly events.

The High School Ministry is a step on the WayPoint path to spiritual maturity. Our goal at Lenexa Baptist Church is for each student to leave the youth ministry ready to live the rest of their lives for Jesus Christ and making Him known.

1. Establish Devotional life
2. Develop Bible study skills
3. Understand Identity in Christ

Standing together
1. Apply Biblical purity to life
2. Serve side-by-side
3. Make one-on-one disciples

Discipleship Opportunities

Sunday School • 9:30am | The Gym

Sunday mornings are a time of challenge from God’s word in small groups with dedicated weekly teachers.  Our middle school groups are designed for students based on grade and gender.  Join us each Sunday as we encourage one another and grow in our understanding of Christ and what He has done for us!

Wednesday Nights • 6:30pm | The Foundry

Fusion is our weekly worship time for middle school students.  We meet downstairs in the Foundry from 6:30-8:00pm.  The foundry opens at 6:00pm and students can come early to hangout, play games and eat pizza ($1 slice).  Each week we worship God through song, play exciting games and learn more about God from His word.  Join us on Wednesday nights for an amazing night with friends and bring someone with you!
