It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way
Jessica Whittington | Wednesday Evening | Mar. 25-Apr. 29 | 6:30-8pm | Room 238

Have you ever found yourself thinking, “God, please don’t let this be the way my story unfolds”? Life often looks so very different than we hoped or expected. Some events may simply catch us off guard for a moment, but others shatter us completely. We feel disappointed and disillusioned, and we quietly start to wonder about the reality of God’s goodness. This study offers a safe guide, fresh biblical insight, and life-giving perspectives for living in between Eden and eternity. Book available for purchase online. This study will begin AFTER Spring Break.

Defined
Cathy Schmidt | Wednesday Evening | Jan. 8-Feb. 26 | 6:30-8pm | Room 224

Inspired by the Kendrick brothers’ Overcomer movie. This study is about discovering your God-given identity and embracing the wonder of who you were created to be. Before asking, “who am I?” we need to be able to answer, “who is God?” If we can’t answer the first question, we will never answer the second. Scripture teaches that we are all made in the image of God. We do not define ourselves—the Creator does. Once those answers are clear, we can move forward and discover all God has called us to be. Can our culture really provide meaningful answers to those questions, or do we need something deeper and more significant? Book available for purchase online.

Through biblical teaching and lesson from her own life, Christine will challenge you to share the story of how God’s love has transformed your life right where you are. Book available for purchase online.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes. By working and applying these principles, we begin to grow spiritually and become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our problems. Change takes place as we share our experiences, hopes and strengths with each other. We gain freedom from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, joy, serenity and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
