International Missions Partners

Renassiance Church Montreal

Renaissance Church is located in Little Burgundy, a diverse neighborhood of nearly 10,000 people in Montreal, Quebec.  In 2014, we began meeting for prayer and Bible Study once a month.  In January 2015, we began our weekly gatherings, and since then we have been a church committed to sharing the Gospel in everyday contexts and sharing our lives with others.

International Mission Board

Since its beginning, IMB has had one goal: bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost peoples of the world. At the first Southern Baptist Convention in 1845, the Foreign Mission Board (FMB) was founded as part of “one sacred effort, for the propagation of the gospel.” Southern Baptist churches believed that by working cooperatively, they could accomplish more for God’s kingdom. That belief still stands strong today.

Mountain Calling Ministries

Mountain Calling Ministries is a nonprofit ministry that shares Jesus, grows Christians and plants reproducing churches among the unreached people of Southeast Asia.

Empower One

Empowerment is at the very core of our strategy. We believe our African partners are far more effective disciple makers, church planters, bible school teachers, missionaries and elementary school teachers than we would be in Africa.

Project Living Hope

At Project Living Hope, we strive to work alongside the Haitian leaders and community. We want to foster relationships where we can listen to one another and share our ideas, goals, and dreams. We believe that Haitians have the capacity and potential to build up Haiti to be sustainable and strong. Therefore, our methods focus on empowering nationals rather than doing the work ourselves.

Project Hope

In 1998, Project H.O.P.E. was established after a group of friends felt God calling them to help the poorest of the poor in Nicaragua. They are committed to serve the people of Nicaragua and now Haiti as well, by sharing the hope of Jesus Christ in the two poorest countries in the Northern Hemisphere. Part of Project Hope ministry portfolio in Nicaragua is Taellor’s House, an after school care ministry and school that reaches single moms and their children with the Gospel. Taellor’s House currently serves 50 families and over 100 children and is fully supported by Lenexa Baptist Church.

Compassion International

Compassion International is doing everything possible to keep children and staff safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. If you sponsor a child, you can and are encouraged to continue to send letters to them, however the process of interpreting and delivering those letters is currently suspended. You can still sponsor a child simply by clicking on the Sponsor a Child link. As of April 24, only one Compassion International child and one Pastor are known to have Covid-19. Pray for all of these children and staff as they continue to do ministry.

Jesus is the core of our ministry and his life and teachings shape our programs, reflect the spiritual commitments of our staff, and guide how we love people, respect communities and cooperate with nations.

As of April, 2020 the Lenexa Baptist family currently sponsors more than 650 Compassion children with 524 being in and around Piura, Peru.

Manuel & Martha Estebane

God moved Pastor Estebanè and his family to Lee`s Summit, Missouri, to establish a Hispanic Ministry at Lee’s Summit Baptist Temple (LSBT) for four years, while working at Lenexa Baptist Church in the Hispanic Ministry. In December of 2005, the Iglesia Bautista del Valle in Juarez, Mexico was left without a Pastor. After much careful prayer and consideration, Manuel offered himself as a candidate for the pastorate of the church.
