Men’s Ministry

The Lenexa Baptist Men’s Ministry is all about helping men become the spiritual leaders God has called them to be,  focusing on discipleship, relationship building and service. We accomplish our goal through multiple Bible studies and discipleship opportunities that are offered throughout the week.

The Gospel of Mark | Via Zoom

Mon. September 14-December 14 | 7:00 – 8:00pm
Led by Jeff McCracken and Curt Boswell

The Gospel of Mark has a feel of heightened intensity as events rapidly hurdle toward the final week of Jesus’ earthly life. Mark’s Gospel is concerned with presenting Jesus as the Messiah, the king, the Son of David, who is rejected by the religious authorities and calls his followers to radical discipleship in the kingdom of God.

Colossians and Philemon: Completion and Reconciliation in Christ | Via Zoom

Mon. September 14-December 14 | 7:00 – 8:00pm
Led by Dwight Ferguson and Tom Erdman

“Jesus is the only way” can be an unpopular stand for Christians to take in our contemporary culture. But dangerous false teachings against Jesus Christ are not new. The Colossian church dealt with these same threats. When Paul learned about this danger, he wrote the church a message of warning. Colossians is full of dramatic and powerful passages coupled with rich instructions that defend Christ’s deity and His sufficiency to reconcile men to God. Paul’s message is a reminder that believers—then and now—are complete in Christ.
