We are told how to stand against the devil’s tactics, but what does it really mean to put on the full armor of God? “Spiritual warfare” is defined as “the cosmic conflict waged in the invisible, spiritual realm which is simultaneously fleshed out in the context of the visible, physical realm.” Pastor Tony Evans pragmatically teaches Ephesians 6:10-18, providing application so that believers can implement the truths of God’s Word in the very real battle at hand. Inspired by the Kendrick brothers’ Overcomer movie. This study is about discovering your God-given identity and embracing the wonder of who you were created to be. Before asking, “who am I?” we need to be able to answer, “who is God?” If we can’t answer the first question, we will never answer the second. Scripture teaches that we are all made in the image of God. We do not define ourselves—the Creator does. Once those answers are clear, we can move forward and discover all God has called us to be. Can our culture really provide meaningful answers to those questions, or do we need something deeper and more significant? Book available for purchase online.
Trisha Hamilton | Wednesday Evening | Jan. 8-Feb. 19 | 6:30-8pm | Room 236
